I don't usually tell this story in full. But I want to, for every couple who's in the middle of their own trying-to-conceive journey right now because I know exactly how painful and lonely it can feel.
In 2021, my husband was diagnosed with teratozoospermia. Only 3% normal sperm cells, plus a liquefaction issue that took over 60 minutes to resolve. At first, we thought it would be a quick fix. It wasn't.
Then in 2024, it was my turn. Adenomyosis. PCOS.

Honestly, that was hard to hear. Especially being in the healthcare field myself, knowing the realities of fertility struggles better than most.
Like a lot of Filipino couples in our shoes. We tried everything nag-Obando kami, sumali sa mga nobena, sinunod namin lahat ng sabi ng mga matatanda. Faith and tradition were as much a part of this journey as anything medical.
But even then, we didn't lose hope.
Here's the part I still can't quite explain, even to myself: while my husband and I were still waiting for our own positive test, I was helping other couples trying to conceive.
By 2023, a full year before my own diagnosis we had already helped almost 200 couples get pregnant.

There were so many nights I cried while asking God, "Lord, bakit sila meron na... kami kailan?" But I kept going.

A controlled clinical trial testing seven different Myo-Inositol/D-Chiro-Inositol ratios in PCOS patients found the 40:1 ratio was the most effective for restoring ovulation. A meta-analysis of nine trials in nearly 500 women with PCOS confirmed this combination improves ovulation rates and metabolic health.
A randomized controlled trial of 169 women with diminished ovarian reserve found that CoQ10 pretreatment led to more retrieved eggs, higher fertilization rates, and more high-quality embryos, with far fewer cancelled cycles than the control group.
